Long time since i posted anything, thought i'd put some up anyway since aarthi seems to be reading this XD
starting off with the sky, taken from alex parent's house, love my cam for its auto adjust function, bringing out the colours much better for this picture.

dum dee dum
too lazy to add pics again, but i got some pretty ok shots of the night scenary..
STILL NO BLOODY SNOW...
we're leaving for Hustad (alex's parents' area) tomorrow by boat then car, its gonna be more than a 4 hour journey, mostly by boat though. i hope it wont be too rocky. at least i got a good beefy burger to look forward to when i get on the boat.
alex FORCED(wellnotreallybutkkthx) me to learn Magic properly today. no, not the kind with a magic wand unfortunately, or snape-dress-up-and-potions, but Magic the Gathering cards. ooohhh damn he's turning me geeky. it shall suffice to say i won the first two rounds. *nod*
we also went to watch a movie today in 3D, Journey to the Center of the Earth, which was really good ^^ stars the guy who starred in The Mummy, and was pretty cool in overall. the seats in movie theatres in norway can recline slightly, making it more comfortable to watch a movie. and they got yummy BACON (ark, are you reading this?) snack thingers. its like chips made of bacon. i keep forgetting to get a pic of those... but the popcorn i still dont find it that appealing, since it doesnt seem that 'fresh'...
oh and alex helped me edit this picture i took at mom's workplace back in singapore, a mini orchid with an even mini-er ( i felt like using it, dont judge) grasshopper on it. i really like it alot, and i'll post up the edited photo soon. ;)
well, got a lot of packing to do... and cleaning up i think. mainly dishes, then gotta fold the laundry which should be dry by now... clean up the place abit, empty the fridge of food... and most importantly, dinner to eat!
pasta!
YAY!

updates!
Its been pretty WARM the last 2-3 days, with the temperature being 5 degrees and above, reaching up to 7 degrees today. Its abit sad, cuz you dont get snow in this heat. *sarcastic btw*
it rained a day ago too, and that kinda melted off most of the snow on the ground, which makes it really slippery to walk on as you get hard slippery patches of ice on uneven ground. Still no snow after 6 days of being here, hope there's snow soon. Last i heard , they had snow at alex's parent's area. and we should be going there on saturday :) CANT WAIT FOR POTATOBALLZZZ YEESSSS
thats it, going out again to buy stuff for alex's mom ( she wants some red curtains) and other stuff...

WII FIT!
Alex has a wii fit, and darn its fun to play XD my very first wii fit age was 34, which i felt was unjustified cuz i didnt know what to do. the second time i took it was 26, a better improvement but still a far cry.
today i took the body test again and i got 20! YAY! my bmi is 22.76, up from 22.34 earlier in the day when i played ( i ate a heavy mexican meal, it was goooood). oh, and i do the utmost justice to wii fit, drinking coke as i play. and abit of chips.
anyway, i am pretty hooked on it, its fun XD especially the yoga and balance tests... i got 100% on some even *gloat* and iæm having fun breaking alex's and joco's records *gloats some more*
ok i'm done gloating now XD back to wii fit!

Le Flight
Lets start with getting on the plane. i got through the gate as it was flashing 'last call' on the screen. And for once i didnt have to sit down and wait before boarding the plane, i just went straight in. And nice enough, i didnt have trouble stowing my handluggage since i had a whole container for myself.
Next to me was a middle aged Italian man, who i tried to talk to for abit but it was hard because his english wasnt very strong, and it was a little hard to communicate. well i found out he was in indonesia for 5 months to work on some dry dock. yeah. I got the seat very near the galley too, so i had refreshements nearby whenever i so desired it. Which included chocolate covered cookies, mars bars, lollipops and some biscuits. And beverages of course. Good thing i discovered that, because i drank LOADS of water on the plane. it was so dry and my throat and mouth felt crappy. which resulted in me going to the toilet alot too.
they updated the movies on klm, so i had pretty nice movise like the mummy 3, harry potter 5, the incredible hulk, wall.e, get smart and the dark night amongst other pretty recent movies. harry potter 5 was labelled a 'classic'... strange XD i watched the first two movies i mentioned up there, i have a habit of re-watching stuff... but the mummy 3 i watched for the first time on the plane. managed to sleep about 4-5 hours perhaps, and it was pretty comfortable for me this time. the plane food didnt suck, i still say, as i had fish with rice, and fruits... the stupid stewardess took away my tray before i finished my yoghurt though. i think thats the bad part of sitting behind, i get less time to enjoy my food before they snatch it away thinking i want it cleaned up. dont know if its me or them, but i felt the service on the plane this time wasnt as good.
The wait in amsterdam passed pretty alright i guess... took a slow walk to where i was supposed to be, got online for half an hour, read abit, ate my chips, read some more, played psp for a very short while and the wait was over.
OH
i got 'molested' at the security area though >_> i beeped at the metal detector, which i find weird cuz it didnt beep at changi airport. and instead of a hand-held metal detector, i had to stand with my arms and legs apart and have this woman grope all over to search for stuff. =.=
The plane was actually pretty empty for the flight from amsterdam to norway, but i didnt notice that till 40 mins before the plane touched down... and by then i had already befriended a german guy next to me. i was actually hoping for a norwegian so i could be sure where to get from the bus etc etc. I knew his was german cuz i was peeking at the book he read and saw a few german words here and there. ANYWAY, turns out we were in similar situations XD his sister is on exchange in norway, and he was visiting her for her birthday, which i thought was quite nice. Thing is, like alex, his sister was having an exam that day, and so the two of us were given picture and instructions how to get whre we were supposed to be.
Luckily for me, i at least had experience with the place and roughly know where to get off... not that that secured me much XD but at least i had nice company on the bus, and having someone who was a little more lost than i was helped whahha. Oh his name is Fabian, which i very nicely pronounced the English way, and discovered it was a female name in french if pronounced so. Its meant to be pronounced as (do, re, mi ) fa-bee-ann, while i went fay-bee-en. Learn something new everyday.
Oh he asked me to speak chinese too, i refuse. NEVAHHH. And he asked a pretty amusing question. He asked if asian people think all european people looked the same. And i said no, there's some difference. ( if you ask me, i'll say the nose shape first. then how they speak) Thats when he said most europeans think all asians look the same. I agreed, if it was just for jap, chinese and korean people and such, but not if you add in indians, malays etc XD
The bus ride was pretty ok, and i was saying how in summer the whole place is green, whereas now the whole place is white, ahd he said just to imagine the white as green. har har har XD well, i got off on the right stop at least, but i had trouble with my 25 kg main luggage XD. AND IT WAS BLOCKED BY 3 OTHER HEAVY BAGS. THE BIG ONES. I managed to push two of them aside with my bodyweight mainly, but the 3rd (which is fabian's btw >_>) i couldnt budge. Thankfully, the bus driver came down and asked if i needed help,. which resulted in me smashing my head pretty loudly on the side panel of the bus. ( i put my luggage in the side compartment of the bus, which is accessible only after you get down ) and ohhh damn. it really hurt. the driver was pretty worried, and he could only speak norwegian but i was pretty much alive XD he was nice and helped me get my bag out, and i started walking home.
not a very far walk , and surprisingly not THAT cold. ( unlike today, when it was -9 in the morning >_>) i had to lug my 25 kg luggage bag up the stairs though, damn i had forgot about that bit. ANYWAY, got in the house which was VERY warm, alex had set it for 24 degrees knowing i'd need the warmth XD. He left me stuff to get warm , thankfully. Blanket, thick socks, inner glove, chocolate XD.. butwhat i liked best in that mini pile was this uber COOL heart. it had gel like stuff in there, and a bronze coloured coin. Alex left me a note saying to .. eh.. i cant remember the exact words, but i figured i'd bend the coin. '
it gave this really audible SNAP as it bent, and suddenly it clouded the clear red gel, and grew REALLY warm. it turned out to be some hand warmer thing i suppose, which i really reallly like and find DAMN useful since i have icehands. so yeah i was pretty happy XD
didnt take long for alex to come home at least :)
so now its morning, well, nearing afternoon i suppose, and the temperature has climbed to -5... dont think it'll go above zero today. At least it makes the place look darn nice, with all the snow on the ground. i'm too lazy to upload any pics at the moment, but i'll do it soon. and i think i'll go down to take a few pics...
alrighty, just saying i'm alive and well! i got time to blog cuz alex is off for another exam today, his last one... so i'm tidying up the place abit... washing clothes, and clearing up all my stuff on the floor which i sprawled all over yesterday.. havent even opened my hand luggage yet XD i probably should get round to doing the dishes i guess.. tata!
