Sucker

meet Sucker, the stray cat. for a few days in a row, it had been meowing daily for 4 hours straight. it would meow itself to sleep on the garage roof. and it was VERY attention hungry, walking in between human legs if people went to pet it and tried to leave after. the neighbour upstairs fell victim to that. so did I. but at least it didnt follow anyone up the stairs to the apartments.

so thats her on the roof near our window on the 2nd floor, meowing from there.
we tried ways to get rid of her.. waving a mop didnt help (she just stared, knowing it wouldnt reach her. and when it did, she just moved 5cm out of reach). neither did the cat-repellent spray thing (it just smells strongly of chemicals, and cats dont like it. for humans, it smells like cheap air freshener.)

so we decided to feed her. that didnt work, she still meowed.

then we decided to wash her. alex and i both had the idea in our heads, and i voiced it out.

i brought some wet tissue towels down.

he brought a bucket of water.

to summarize,
alex dumped two buckets of water on it in stages. and it came back as long as Alex goes 'psssspsssspsssspsssss' to it. i handled the drying off, and even removed petrified shit from its ass... as well as other random icky stuff that clung to its long ass-fur.

we then decided we could sacrifice a small towel and give it a proper rub off... and it handled it all very well. so it cant be stray at all. i imagine a stray would freak out totally and leave battle scars on our hands.

today, Sucker still hangs around though she no longer tries to set a world record on Longest Meowing Session. her pretty long fur was much MUCH softer and nicer to touch after the wash.

bonus that it doesnt sink badly now either.
this is the most recent pic, taken today after i fed it some cat food. looking all contented XD

hope someone will adopt it though. it seemed like a nice enough cat.
